As you would be aware the NSW Government announced the updated legislation on the 22 May 2020 that Clubs, Pubs, Cafes and Restaurants would be permitted to have up to 50 customers in total in their venues, subject to a one person per four square metre rule with strict social distancing guidelines from June 1st 2020.


The Board of Directors and myself have met and after lengthy discussions in regards to the recent NSW Government announcement, we present  to you the following guidelines which have been set, which gives us the ability to open the Club and service our guests efficiently and effectively, whilst we adhere to the 100 customer capacity.  We will endeavour to appease all, however please be mindful we are dealing with restrictions which do not form part of our normal business.


The following outlines the procedures for 100 patrons in and out of the Club, also the mandatory procedures Catering and Club Staff are having to ensure are abided by. These guidelines below may alter if the NSW Government and Clubs NSW advise us that there have been further changes, however, until advice has been updated this legislation applies.


The Club will be opening 5 afternoons per week Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday from 3pm until approximately 9 to 9.30pm, effective from Wednesday 3 June 2020.  Friday and Saturday opening at 12noon with lunch available on both days.


All members and guests hoping to attend the Club MUST call the Club Staff on 02 44561 272 to advise of numbers and to also book for the restaurant.  Please call to avoid arriving at the Club and being refused entry due to being at capacity.




On entry to the Club you will be greeted by our staff who will request the following before you enter the premises.  Please follow the directives of the Clubs Staff, they are adhering to the NSW Government Guidelines for COVID-19, and are too treading in unchartered waters:


  • You will have your temperature tested with a thermometer gun;

  • Signing in and out requirements are mandatory and Club staff will advise you accordingly;

  • Hands to be sanitized prior to entry;

  • Tables and chairs have been set out in the Club to accommodate the required guests, please see staff if modifications are required to the seating, being mindful that there are to be no more than 10 guests per table;

  • Social distancing is mandatory whilst you are in the Club, please take active measures to ensure physical distancing of 1.5metres;

  • All guests whilst in the Club must remain seated at all times whilst dining and socialising;

  • All staff have recently completed the ‘Infection Control Training COVID-19’ and will offer any assistance and queries you may have whilst in the venue;

  • The Club Staff and Catering Staff will be regularly cleaning and sanitising the services and surfaces throughout the Club.  The Club encourages guests to continually use the sanitiser available throughout the Club;

  • Any guest or member who repeatedly fails to observe the distancing or hygiene standards whilst in the Club, will be asked to leave the premises immediately.

  • From 3pm to 5.15pm Wednesday to Sunday our members and visitors are welcome to attend the Club, 100 guests only.  However, you will need to call the Club to advise us how many guests are coming, do not just turn up as we may be at capacity and you will not be permitted entry; 

  • From 3pm to 5.30pm there will be a ‘Bar Snack’ menu available;

  • At 5.15pm Club staff are to advise the 100 guests that at 5.30pm they must vacate the Club, unless of course they have a dinner reservation at 5.30pm in the restaurant; 

  • Dining table service only, which includes ordering of meals will be carried out by catering staff;

  • 5.30pm to 7.15pm is allocated for the first sitting of diners; (then 15 minutes to sanitise.)

  • 7.30pm to 9pm is allocated for the second sitting of diners;

  • Takeaway meals will be available from 5.30pm to 9pm, please call the Club to order this takeaway.  Guests collecting takeaway are to wait in the undercover area at the back door near the bowlers office and Catering Staff will attend to you;

  • If patrons arrive to order takeaway without placing their order by phone, we will request that they call the Club number and place their order;

  • All customers must be seated and no bookings of more than 10 allowed;

  • Meals cannot be shared as this forms part of a buffet which is not permitted under the guidelines, so patrons must have a full meal.  No plates of hot chips, pizzas etc to be shared;

  • Saturday and Sunday only Club Opening at 12noon.  For bookings for dining and attending the Club please call to book in.

    • Lunch sitting one – 12noon to 2pm




  • Gaming facilities are available, however, the 1.5metre social distancing rule still applies within this area;

  • TAB and Keno facilities are available;

  • Bar staff will be attending to you with beverage service throughout your visit;

  • No raffles, bingo, promotions will be held throughout this time until further notice;

  • However, we do have on sale our huge raffle prizes of up to 100 prizes, which was to be drawn at our ‘Bushfire Fundraiser’ in March which could not go ahead.  We appreciate your support of this when you visit the Club;

  • At this stage the Club Courtesy Bus will not be operating, if these circumstances change we will advise you immediately.




  • Currently there are 2 x 1 hour rollups available on Tuesdays and Thursdays for Men’s and Ladies Bowling members only;

  • Sessions are 11am to 12noon and 12.30 to 1.30pm.  There are only 16 players each session so please call the Club an hour before each session commences to book in;

  • When there is further notification of a game of bowls and any barefoot bowling you will be notified immediately.


Staff have been advised to be mindful that circumstances within the Club for lower numbers than 100 may occur, therefore, they are to use their discretion in fairness to all guests as to time allocation.


These are very difficult times for us all to try and deal with, however, we will follow the legislation to the best of our abilities and offer you a memorable visit to our Club!
